Andrew Scott and Victoria Barrett, Editors
Andrew Scott is the author of Naked Summer, a collection of short stories, and Modern Love, a single-story chapbook. His stories and other work have appeared in Esquire, Glimmer Train Stories, Mid-American Review, The Cincinnati Review, Night Train, Ninth Letter, Hobart, The Writer’s Chronicle, and other publications.
Victoria Barrett’s stories have appeared in Colorado Review, The Massachusetts Review, Confrontation, and You Must Be This Tall to Ride. She is the editor and publisher of Engine Books, a boutique fiction press publishing new work by Patricia Henley, Myfanwy Collins, Sybil Baker, and Gregory Spatz, among others.
Andrew and Victoria served as co-managing editors of Puerto del Sol from 2000-2002, while earning MFA degrees from New Mexico State University’s creative writing program. They married in 2005 and moved to Irvington, an Indianapolis neighborhood named for Washington Irving, where streets are named for Hawthorne and Emerson. They live, write, and edit in an old house adorned with a historic designation plaque featuring Washington Irving’s floating head.
